Florida Association of Counties

Annually the Florida Association of Counties requests photos for their new year calendar.  Out of 67 counties 13 photos are chosen. The theme for this year was "Landmarks". Using a wide angle lens, I decided to take a shot of the Ponce De Leon statue (GilChrist Park, Punta Gorda); placing it in the foreground and including the Charlotte Harbor and the Barron Collier Bridge in the background.  I was delighted to be informed that this photo was chosen by the Florida Association of Counties to be in their 2012 calendar.
